patience for now
i didn’t realize that a whole month had passed without a blog entry
december sure did go quickly
lots of good stuff this month…
i now have a santa fe gallery to represent my work
seven-o-seven contemporary
i will have to figure out how to get a link up here
it is a gorgeous space
and am very honored to be with such great talent
i am now trying to work on wood panels
yeah, watercolor on wood panels
…not easy
the surface is textured
it will take some getting used to
but once i get it down it will be so much better than
having to deal with the framing of pieces on paper
here is my first attempt at a watercolor on panel

patience for now… I can relate to that. Besides, I think that name is appropriate considering your frustration in painting it.
The figure seems to be so proper, if you know what I mean. I really like it. I’m sure the whole process will become easier given time and experience with this clay board… hang in there!
