I understand hearing loss. I was told many years ago that I needed hearing aids. The Dr. told me to just tell people that I do not hear well. I have been doing that for a long time but I know that it does agrevate some people when I ask them to repeat. I do not mind missing a lot of noise and I still have not purchased hearing aids. They are very exspensive and not affordable for me. I accept the way I am and others will to if they care about me. I would never know that you had hearing loss from having conversations with you. You have a beautiful personality and I love having a conversation with you. You listen to every word so intently that you make everyone feel that they are special to you and that you want to really listen to what they have to say. Your paintings are a reflection of your goodness, spirituality, and intuition. You are a true artist and I am so happy to have had the pleasure of knowing you and sharing our love of art.

This is beautiful Ali. And my six year old son is completely deaf in his right ear too. I often wonder how it must be for him, to only hear out of one ear. Your words really hit home to me. Your work is just stunning and you are such an inspiration to me. Thanks so much for sharing it.
