i have been really interested in direct sunlight lately
the cast shadows make great abstractions in the figure
in this painting, i worked with a palette that i’ve never used before
sort of a washed out black…it turned raspberry/lavender
i wanted to pull some warmth in
by using a sunset color on the alternate stripe
