those of you that know me well, know that i have a horrible memory
awhile back i was over at a friend’s house
and noticed a painting that they had in their stairwell
my heart jumped, and i thought, “what a beautiful painting!”
and my friends reminded me that i had given it to them years ago
i couldn’t believe it
i totally forgot that i had even painted this piece

i’ve been so busy in the last three weeks or so
so my blog has been lacking a little…sorry
thank you all for the flood of nice e-mails and kind words

i discovered a lot of new socks at a local store
…stripes and diamonds
i’ve got so many new ideas
and there just isn’t enough time in a day

i painted the bulk of this one yesterday
while i was on the phone with my friend tammy
