stay

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

it happened this morning
after i pulled the garbage can to the end of the drive
i turned around to the most beautiful glowing orange sunrise
the sun was beaming up through the clouds
….the color was unreal
i stopped half way back to the house and just took in the moment
wishing it could stay

moments in the past

Monday, November 6th, 2006

i personally love seeing old photos of friends and family
it gives me a sense of their past experiences
i enjoy seeing adult friends in child form
anyone that follows my art knows that
past experiences are the subject of my obsession

i was recently digging up a bunch of old photos
i thought it would be nice to occasionally share some
images from my past

why hasn’t macrame made a come back?
those little hemp necklaces don’t cut it
i want furniture!
my mom was a little bit of a macrame enthusiast
one of my favorites was her hanging chair in the living room
here we are with a hanging shelf

this picture is nice because it shows where i got my sense of design

….thanks mom!
