my husband is really into this sort of rare VW called a syncro (vanagon)
and lately when i’ve been talking about pieces for this cinco show
he gets all excited thinking that i’m starting a conversation about syncros
…no such luck, honey

each artist received a 4′ x 4′ piece of paint splashed canvas
that is to be turned into a piece of art that will be auctioned

i decided to stretch mine onto a hardboard panel
and do an oil painting
haven’t done an oil for a long time
…haven’t worked on canvas in YEARS
