I painted this piece for a figurative show that will open next week at dkGallery. It is also a study for a group of paintings that I am wanting to paint this year.

A collector wanted a companion for this painting that she purchased last year. I originally planned on painting 3 in this series, but once the first was painted I got excited about painting something else and never completed the triptych.
